Westleigh is a relaxing home,
ideally located for you to use as
a base to explore all that the Nelson
province has to offer. The house has
evolved from the original farmhouse
ca. 1860 set in mature grounds and
well away from the public road, i.e. quiet. Generally we take only
one party of not more than four, the second bedroom is for children
or when we have two couples travelling together. The separate guest
bathroom is shared by the two guest rooms.
For the energetic we can guide you to those special places unknown to
most visitors, and it’s just 10 mins to the nearest scenic beach, or golf
course. Also 10 mins to Richmond, 30 to Nelson. There is a selection
of good restaurants nearby, or eat here. Most do, the food is good,
not haute cosmetique and you don’t have to move on again after the
meal. Nelson has much to offer, including an average daily ration of 7
hours sunshine. If you are visiting from UK sunscreen is advised. Most guests leave wishing they could
stay longer, so if you can, plan to stay several days. Share our corner of paradise, the email address is
