Enjoying superb sea views of
the Marlborough Sounds,
Tirimoana House is located a
convenient 30 min. drive from
Picton and the Marlborough wineries. Our two-storey home
sits on an elevated waterfront site once occupied by the historic
Tirimoana Hotel. All 5 sumptuous bedrooms are ensuite, have
antique French queen/size beds (one has a 1789 four poster) antique
bedside cabinets and chandeliers. One suite sleeps 4. Our home has
antique furniture throughout and many works of art, both local and
international, collected by your hosts (both artists) on their travels.
Close by is the renowned Queen Charlotte Track (walk out - water
taxi back), kayaking, mountain biking and famous wineries. Relax in
our swimming or spa pools or in front of the log fire in winter before
enjoying a gourmet dinner of local fare and wines. Michelle is an
international chef. We serve the finest espresso coffee. Minimum 2
night stay from Dec 1 till 31st March. Winter rates May 1st – Sept
30th less 10%. We have a lovely poodle, his name is Shug.
