A 130 year-old stone stable, converted for guest
accommodation and listed by the New Zealand Historic
Places Trust, shares a private courtyard with our home. The
Garden Room is in the house. Both rooms are well heated
with views of garden, lake or mountains. Tea / coffee making
facilities are available at all times. Our home is in a quiet culde-
sac and set in a garden abundant with rhododendrons and
native birds. Less than 100 m from the beach. A small boat
and canoe are available for guests’ use. All tourist facilities are
within easy walking distance. A courtesy car is available. Guests
share our spacious living areas and make free use of our library
and laundry. We can advise about and are booking agents for
all sightseeing tours.
