Old world elegance aptly describes this delightful B & B – not just
a place to stay, but a feature of your holiday. Formerly a popular
hotel for over 100 years, the B&B is
a local landmark. Hosts Kevin and
Glenys have traced the hotels’ history
back to 1868 and in the process ascertained they are the 25th owners.
Hosts accommodation is separate but adjoining the guest area. Glenys
enjoys helping you to make the most of your stay in Queenstown offering
advice and information and making bookings for local attractions. Kevin
loves fly fishing and offers local knowledge and advice. Buckley our
friendly English Springer likes to walk you along our beautiful track by
the river. The Ferry B&B has 3 bedrooms, one with an antique brass bed
and character ensuite bathroom. During ski season we let the whole house
for groups/families on a self-cater basis. There is a kitchen that Granny
would have been proud of, a charming lounge-dining room decked with
historic photos, paintings and memorabilia, kept warm by a roaring log
wood-burner. Laundry facilities and gas barbeque available.
