Just 15 minutes from Queenstown,
Arrowtown i s an historic
goldmining town that has retained
much of it’s olde world charm and
offers travellers a peaceful and stylish
alternative to the hustle and bustle of
Queenstown. Stroll along the Arrow
River or through the many tree-lined
streets with cafés, restaurants, arts, cinema and a selection of shops. For the more active, there are many
walking tracks in the surrounding hills, two local golf courses, or 4-wheel drive tours through the Arrow
Gorge with Macetown and its goldmining ruins. In keeping with the history of the area, your hosts June
and Arch Flint have built this lovely restored timber villa in classic settler style on a fabulous elevated site
overlooking the main settlement just two minutes walk away. You have the choice of the master bedroom
with ensuite, breakfast bar and your own private verandah overlooking a fabulous garden setting or the
second spacious double bedroom with mountain views and an adjoining bathroom with a claw foot
bath. Enjoy a coffee and homemade muffins on arrival and relax in the warm and welcoming home of
your hosts who will happily assist you with any travel or administrative arrangements.
DIRECTIONS:
Just two streets from Arrowtown’s
main street. Please phone if you
require further directions.
