Okuru Beach gives you the opportunity to stay in a
unique part of our country where time moves slowly.
Enjoy the coastal beaches with interesting driftwood and
shells. On a walk in the rainforest a variety of native birds
can be viewed. In the season, Fiordland Crested Penguins can
be seen within walking distance along a rocky beach, near
Jackson’s Bay, a 30-minute drive away. We and our friendly
labrador dog enjoy sharing our comfortable home and local
knowledge of the area. With prior notice we can serve dinner
at $25 per person, BYO, vegetarian is available. Our interests are handcrafts, coin
collecting, fishing and tramping.
We enjoy the chance to meet new people from New Zealand and overseas.
