This 100 year old farmhouse is full of character, and only
three minutes drive from Greymouth. It is surrounded by
extensive gardens containing in excess of 300 rhododendrons
and azaleas. Pathways are interlaced throughout the garden for
wandering and exploring.
The guest accommodation is upstairs and includes a spacious
guest lounge with television and tea and coffee making facilities.
You can sit on the balcony sipping your drink and gaze over
the surrounding farmland and mountains or rejuvenate
yourself in the spa pool or sauna.
For the more energetic there is the tennis court, swimming
pool, or stroll over the eighteen acre farmlet. We have a
collection of coloured sheep on the property and a few hens
to provide eggs for your farmhouse breakfast. Alastair and
Shirley have been sheep and cattle farmers in the past and
extend a very warm welcome to you at Oak Lodge.
