Murchison Lodge offers B&B accommodation in four spacious
rooms, all with their own bathroom – one with a huge bath.
(Bubbles provided!!). Go to bed to the sound of the river and awaken
to the smell of fresh bread and bacon
on the BBQ. Breakfast on freshly
collected eggs and homegrown fruit.
Our four acres supports various
animals (including a friendly
puppy) and borders the Buller River with its swimming holes and
fishing access. Quiet and secluded, yet the cafés of Murchison are
within five minutes pleasant walk. The area is renowned for its
fly-fishing and white-water activities. Bike or walk local trails, or
play golf (free use of bikes and clubs). Day trips include the Buller
Gorge and Pancake Rocks; Abel Tasman; Nelson Lakes and the hot
springs at Maruia. Return to your accommodation for a cold beer
on the verandah or a wine in front of the cosy log fire.
