Milestone is a modern, comfortable home. A working water wheel
and waterfall are part of the three acres of peaceful and tranquil
gardens. The surrounding mountains
are a wonder to behold at all times
of the year. The rose-covered stone
schist cottage is self-contained and an ideal honeymoon hideaway, and
as a marriage celebrant Betty can arrange and perform the ceremony
to accompany the honeymoon.
The cottage has a four poster queen bed and a custom made queen
divan in the living room for an extra guest. In the main house is a
romantic ensuite with antique furniture and a private deck.
Upstairs the ‘Remarkable Suite’ has a king and single bed, dressing
room, lounge and ensuite. Another queen bedroom is available for
extra guests in the party. Each room is spacious with TV, tea/coffee
making facilities and spectacular views.
Children are welcome – a port-a-cot is available.
