Greenbush is a 1000 acre family estate that dates
back to 1865. A working sheep and dairy farm,
guests have the opportunity to stroll a wild beach, a tour
of the lake and farm when suitable. Nestled in 2 acres
of garden, Greenbush is situated 4 kms from Fortrose off the Southern Scenic
Route. Within 30 minutes you can enjoy Curio Bay, Waipapa Point, Waipohatu
(a good bush walk) and Slope Point (the southern most point of the South
Island) Greenbush is 40 minutes (50 kms) from Invercargill, an ideal place to
stop either before or after visiting Stewart Island and Fiordland.
DIRECTIONS:
At Fortrose on Southern
Scenic Route turn into Moray Terrace, the Coastal Route. We are 4 km from that
turn-off on the right hand side of
Fortrose-Otara Road, Rapid No 298.
