A little off the beaten track, on a sunny, private hillside in the
Hanmer Basin, Charwell Eco Lodge offers the perfect place to relax
and enjoy a little luxury. Situated 1½ hrs from Christchurch Garden
City and International Airport, 8 mins from Hanmer Springs Village
and Thermal Resort, 1½ hours from
Kaikoura Whale Watch activities
on the Alpine Pacific Triangle and
40 minutes from the Waipara winegrowing
region. Ours is the perfect
place to base yourselves for your visit to the South Island, be it holiday
or honeymoon. The views from your ensuite room are awesome. On
warm evenings you may sit on your private patio and soak in the
scenery. In the winter months you can sit in front of our large open
log fire and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine before sampling an
evening meal at one of the many excellent restaurants in Hanmer
Springs. A visit to our website www.charwell.co.nz will explain all the
services we provide to make your stay an enjoyable experience.
