Our farm which has 2 km of coastline overlooks the beautiful harbour
of Akaroa with panoramic views to the historic town of Akaroa. Our house is situated near this coastline with a large garden, and a well used grass tennis court surrounded by lovely mature trees. The property runs sheep, cattle, some forestry and two small vineyards. We have been hosting guests since 1977 so obviously, love having people to stay, and taking them, we think, on an interesting farm tour. From our motor boat we offer viewing of nesting sea birds, hector dolphins and penguins. There are lovely walks and interesting bays to visit on Banks Peninsula. Our interests include tennis, golf (Akaroa golf course is nearby) and bridge and many of our guests come with us to our local club. We have both travelled extensively so enjoy hearing about other countries. We have a small well behaved Jack Russell terrier. Most guests join us for dinner where we offer pre-dinner drinks and our locally grown wine for $35 per person. We look forward to your enquiry and hopefully meeting you.
