Welcome to Blue Thistle. Our luxury self-contained cottages
were opened for guests in January 2004. We are situated on
ten acres of land just 1½ km from Te Anau on the road to Milford
Sound. Each cottage is individually decorated and all have superb
views. The bedroom has a queen slat bed with quality linen and
electric blanket. The large ensuite bathroom has heated towel rails,
heat lamps, hair dryer, fluffy robes and toiletries. The lounge has
cable/Sky television, telephone, fastnet internet connection and
CD/radio. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave and selection
of teas and coffees.
We have been involved with tourism for the past sixteen years,
previously in Franz Josef and also in Picton. You are likely to be met
by Paris, a very friendly German shorthaired pointer. We also have
three cats and several friendly Dexter cows. Allow yourself a couple
of days to relax and enjoy all that Te Anau and Blue Thistle has to
offer. Discount for two or more nights. Now available large two
bedroom cottage – minimum two night stay. No meals included.
