We offer you a warm and friendly welcome to our
comfortable home situated on the property that was
settled by the Berwick family in 1907. The Tasman Sea and
Southern Alps are seen from the living areas, the sunrises
and sunsets are uniquely beautiful. We have sheep, cattle,
and hens on our hobby farm, with one farm dog, a cat and
a house dog. Beautiful Lake Mahinapua is only minutes away with many interesting
bush walks. We are only a short distance from the beach and golf course.
Hokitika is a ten minute drive with its jade (pounamu) carvers and many other arts,
crafts and walks. We look forward to spending time with you and sharing our love
of the West Coast.
DIRECTIONS:
Travel over the Hokitika Bridge on State Highway 6 for 12 km, on the right just
past the southern Ruatapu turnoff.
