Dean and Maudie welcome you to our 116 hectares of
mainly native forest, bordering the Kahurangi National
Park and the Maruia River, offering opportunities for trout
fishing, swimming and kayaking. Come and enjoy the sights
and sounds of the abundant bird life in our garden. We are
situated only minutes from the Maruia Falls and the Buller
Gorge which offers adventure activities such as jet-boating,
whitewater rafting and gold panning at the Swingbridge. The
Lodge is centrally located for day trips to Nelson Lakes or the
Maruia hot springs, after which you can relax with a predinner
drink by the fire and enjoy an excellent home-cooked
dinner. Our rooms have ensuites and a separate lounge with
tv and complimentary port.
